Caller ID and SMS

Which number you dial out from can determine whether the person you're trying to reach answers or not. Sometimes you want to call out from your mobile number, sometimes you want to display your landline number, and sometimes it's best to show a group number. With our Teams integration, you can choose which caller ID you want to display when you make outbound calls. You can also send SMS directly from the Teams interface with just a few simple button presses.

ACD groups and voicemails

You can see the ACD groups you belong to and the number of users logged in to each group directly in the interface. You can log in and out of the different groups with a single button press. With the Teams integration, you can also listen to, download, and delete voicemails in Teams.

Control your call forwarding through Teams

The call forwarding you choose in Teams subsequently controls your call forwarding settings in the rest of the PBX system. If you set yourself as busy in Teams, you will also be set as busy in your softphone or mobile app. You can also choose the call forwarding status you want in the PBX when you change your status in Teams. This ensures that you always have the correct call forwarding settings in all systems, regardless of where you are working.

Teams is a service created by Microsoft, but this by no means implies that you are restricted to using a specific device designed solely for Microsoft. You can connect to Teams regardless of which device you choose to use. Connect from an iPhone, iPad, Android, PC, or Mac.

The right Teams license

What license is required to integrate Teams with Dstny?

For the integration to work, users need a service in Microsoft with Teams. Any of the following licenses is required:

For Business:

  • Microsoft 365 Business Basic
  • Microsoft 365 Business Standard
  • Microsoft 365 Business Premium

For Enterprise:

  • Office 365 E1
  • Office 365 E3
  • Office 365 E5

For telephony, a Microsoft Teams Phone Standard license is required for all the above except E5, where it is included.
